I have a Hunter air purifier that I have owned for many years. It has become increasingly hard to find pre-filters for it, since no stores in my area carry them. I used to purchase them on-line from one supplier, but the prices seemed to be a little higher than what I wanted. Then I found I could get them from Amazon for a very competitive price, with free shipping. What's not to like?Hunter 30901 Replacement Pre-Filter for HEPAtech Quiet Flo Air Purfiers

Have a pair of filters for over two years. They run constantly and work very well. A little to much noise for the bedroom for me and the filter cost does add up. I would buy these filters again and recommend them because of the volume of air thats filtered. The pre filter can be cut for two filters.

It is genuine Hunter. You cut it with scissors to fit your machine. It makes 2 filters for my machine

They were great except they aren't Hunter! They were generic and I was expecting the name brand.

As a couple of others have already mentioned this replacement cut-to-order filter is only large enough to get one replacement filter out of rather than the two stated on the box. Purifier Model 30547 needs a 19.5 x 13.5 pre-filter to completely cover the Hepa filter. Anything smaller will allow dust directly into the Hepa filter shortening it's life considerably. Pre-filter 30901 is the designated part to replace the original for this model.

This Hepa filter really works. My son is allergic to dust and ever since I've been putting on the Hepa Air Purifier everyday and replacing the filters every month, he's been sinus free!!

Sent Item back. Was quickly reimbursed. Item was of good quality but I had ordered incorrect size.

I am very pleased with these filters. I have a Rottweiler and an English Mastiff and combined they weigh over 275 lbs. Even though my dogs were bathed several times per year my home smelled like I had dogs. Now my home is virtually odor free of doggie smell.

These filters are a good buy and work great. They were shipped and received in a timely manner. Plan to purchase again from this website.

It was received in a timely manner and apparently not damaged. However, it did not come in the Hunter box...it was loose. SO I don't know if this is a genuine Hunter replacement Hepa filter or not. It was made slightly different than my previous one. I don't know if they changed the product, or if this is not the genuine article. Would have preferred to get it in an actual Hunter-Hepa box so as to prove it's genuine quality. 2/23/2007-I purchased it this time from Amazon. It came in a Hunter box-looks and performs like a Hunter. And as usual. Amazon got it to me quickly.

this filter fit well in my older unit and works well. I was not certain that it would fit the model I own, but it did, and the shipping was extremely fast. I recommend this.

I bought the Hunter air purifier for my basement. The unit itself was about $60 and the replacement filters are about $30.00, every three months. So, it is rather like a printer that is cheap to buy, but they get you with the replacement of the ink. The air purifier works well with these filters.

This a replacement filter I bought to eventually replace the original hepa filter in my Hunter air filter. As a matter of info: I used this filter to help remove airborne sanding dust in a small room one day and I tried to clean it up using a air compressor to blow it clean. This didn't work well. It still was noticably dirty from the sanding dust even after blowing it out. I guess you could say this filter really grabs and holds the contaminates it traps. Good filter!

This was a replacement filter for the air purifier I purchased the year before. I love this machine and the replacement filter lasted a full year (the machine tells me when to change them). I just put another one in my shopping cart.

If you own the air cleaner then you're familiar with this filter. It's well made and traps quite a bit of dust.

Same as the original filter that came with your air purifier. Stick with a winner.

I don't notice a difference whether the Ionizer on or off, but the dust surely collects in there. It suggests to replace the filter every few months (even with continuous usage), but in my experience so far, the colored indicator (gray-scale paper sticker) shows that the filter is ready to be replace every month (and we keep our place pretty clean... I don't know where the dust comes from). By the way, when ordering the replacement filters (which can get expensive), order 1 carbon filter for every 2 HEPAtech filter.

I was looking at different options before running into this deal. At $44 bucks I couldn't pass it up. We have had it about 3 months and so far so good. I actually really got to test it after my wife made some fish for dinner. I moved the unit to the kitchen and put it on high and didnt' turn on any other fans. It really removed the smell. By the end of dinner the kitchen smelled normal. I haven't replaced the filter yet but that is where I see the extra expense is going. For the price, I would get another one.

I purchased this air purifier despite some bad reviews. I'm so glad I didn't pay attention to the bad reviews. It is absolutely wonderful and does a great job. I really wish I had bought two at the same time. It is not loud at all. I actually put it in my room at night because I sleep so much better because of the gentle fan blowing. And as far as how it works the proof is in the filter. I can't believe how much dust/dirt it is removing from the air in my home. A wonderful buy!

Agree with the other reviewers, the filter replacement cost is high. In my case it will average about $10/mon. I didn't expect this small unit to clean the air in our entire bedroom, which is very large with cathedral ceilings. It does an excellent job filtering the air in the lower portion of the room, where we sleep or sit. Purchased the unit in April '07. The first time the Pre-Filter light indicated it needed to be changed, I washed the filter lightly in cool, sudsy water, let it air dry and reused it. It will cost $19.95 to replace it next time. The HEPAtech filter replacement light came on after 5-1/2 months of use. Replacement cost was $29.95 from Amazon. One other note, this air purifier must be placed on a shelf or table-top, not on the floor.

The Hunter Air Purifier works great but the filter is not as easy to clean as your are led to believe. When you try to vacuum the dust out, you also remove the fibers that collect the dust. Ours have been cleaned twice and now have to be replaced. You can find these at prices of $59-$19 each depending on where you shop. We've had our machines approximately 5 months.

Great product, no setup as the filters are installed. Quiet operating, if you notice more noise, check the filters. Easy to forget them as there is no filter status indicator except for a dial on top with set time frames. I'm remodeling so more dust so I've vacuumed the pre-filter and the main won't make the suggested time frame.

I ordered this through Amazon, who ordered it through Petco, who ordered it from a third party. Apparently my first shipment was lost in transit and getting the customer service I needed with all these middle men was difficult. I eventually got it though and it works great. I have a little apartment with 2 cats and never want my place to smell like I have 2 cats. I plugged it in and it immediately did the job.

I have three hunter air purifiers in my home. My son and I have bad allergies and having one in each room has helped tremendously. This was a great deal...I purchased two of my air purifiers here on Amazon...great deal especially with the free shipping!

this is a really nice product. relatively quiet,affordable and useful. i keep it in my living room and it really has improved the quality of our air and reduced allergies.

Hunter has the very best service department on the web, but some of there units are noisy this unit is quite on slow speeds but very noisy on high speeds, but if noise is not a problem for you then this is a good product by hunter, but because of the noise I gave this unit three stars.Hepa

A good filter is a must for allergy sufferers this works good in my room.

This Hunter air filter is similar to the original and may be manufactured by Hunter. Don't know. Regardless, it fit well, and all works well in my older Hunter air cleaner unit. Can't do without them although I hate the cost! I recommend this as it came quickly.
