I purchased this because my home contained visable mold and who knows what's hidden behind the drywall. In addition, the lower level of the home often had a funny smell (not really moldy, just funny, kind of earthy), and since I moved, the dog and cat are really itchy. I read one of the reviews for this product on another site where someone had a mold remediator come in 4 times and it didn't work, so I decided to try this first, since it's cheaper, and it is supposed to remove more than just mold. I plugged this in in the family room on the lower level. It originally gives off a mild burning smell that subsides after a few days. Soon, the lower level of my home had no more funny smells and both the cat and dog prefer to sleep in that room as opposed to all other rooms. I just ordered a second one for the mid level of my home and plan to get a smaller one for the bedroom. I'm very pleased with it. Don't know that it got rid of the mold, but it did get rid of the smell and both the dog and cat think it's doing a good thing, since they had no interest in that room prior to the Airfree. To me, that says a lot. Ok, had to edit this because I got the second airfree for the living room level and that's been running about 2 weeks now. They say it takes a month to work, but my itchy dog, who had rubbed all the hair off her eye and had large scabs on her rear by her tail (the vet was the one who originally put the air purifier idea in my head) has stopped rubbing her face, her eye's no longer red and it appears that the hair's even making an effort to regrow and all the scabs on her rear are gone! She's not on any meds for this either so that's not the cause of her improvement. This is more than I could have hoped for. She's much more comfortable and will now hang with us in the livingroom. I just ordered a small one for my bedroom. Now we'll see how it does on my morningtime stuffy nose :-) Ps. still no funny smells on the lower level!

I purchased this item October 24th. I had pneumonia and was concerned about air quality. I cannot tell if it is working, but I have left it plugged in because I have faith that it is probably working. I think I will have to do a test with a strawberry to see if it molds quickly, or have an indoor air quality person do a test, which will cost $400. It is hard to tell if it works. It is true that it is silent and doesn't make the room any hotter or colder. It would be nice if there was something they could build into this product to measure air samples or something to show you it is working.

Overall very satisfied with the product. The wife's asthma attacks are much improved and my eyes aren't swollen shut in the morning anymore from allergies/dust mites/mold or whatever the heck it was that was bothering me (I am highly allergic). I was able to tell with my eyes within the first couple days, though per the literature it can take a couple weeks to get the entire room well sterilized. In response to the poster above, you can dim the blue light with a dimmer switch button on the underside if the light the airfree gives off bothers you.

I bought this unit for my bedroom. I wanted something quiet, rather than the air cleaner I currently have and I need something going all the time due to allergies. You cannot turn off the blue light. It is very bright. I moved the unit to a spare bedroom where I sometimes store dusty items from the attic and it works fine there where I do not mind the light.

I put one of these in my bedroom. Before installing it, I tossed and turned a lot at night and rarely dreamed. Now I sleep deeper and dream more often. I suspect my allergies were interfering with my sleep before. (I am primarily allergic to cats and dust mites, but also have a mild mold allergy.) The blue light on top does not interfere with my sleep, but sometimes I turn it off anyway. There is a small blue LED on the side that does not turn off, which I found annoying until I rotated the unit so that the LED does not shine in my eyes when I'm trying to sleep. The unit does not make any noise (the air is moved by heating, not by a fan). Before buying this, I needed 7-8 hours of sleep per night to function well during the day. Now I feel the same on only 6-7 hours of sleep. The product literature claims this can help remove odors from the air. It may reduce the pungency of odors, but it does not remove them completely in my experience.

This is my very first review ever on anything, but the product warranted my input. Asthetically, it is not much to look at. However, it does what it says it does. I live in a row Townhouse condo complex and live next door to smokers. Unfortunately, they smoke in the basement, and the smell travels through the spaces left open by the common pipes that run through each unit, making my laundry room and rec room literally stink as if there were 10 people sitting in the laundry room smoking. After much confrontation, they have ceased smoking, however, the residue of the nicotine stuck on all my possessions in the storage area of my laundry room. I had tried vinegar, bleach, air purifier... anything I could think of to remove/reduce the smell. Our restoration company told us about the industrial ozone generators they use to eradicate smoke smell after a fire. After reviewing many models on-line, I finally broke down and purchased this generator. Got it yesterday and ran it for 1/2 hour (it is two 8x10 rooms) in the evening. It did exactly what it said it would do. The "oxygen" smell is akin to a downpour of rain during a hot summer day... pungent, yet clean. I went down this morning, and the whole laundry room and the rec room smell clean and fresh and no nasty tobacco smell. It was amazing, and a relief to have that nasty smell out of my home. Next, I will try it in my vehicles, and also the bathroom to help control any bacteria. I am very pleased with this item - well worth the money - highly recommend it.

This unit does exactly what it says it should. After use I think it could be improved by adding more time selections (only variable time to one hour or always on) and variable output....but for the price it seems like a good deal

I suppose if Russian military would set out to design an ionizer it would look like this - an unassuming looking black metal box with a couple of switches and virtually no labeling, very basic looking. Performance, however is truly mind-blowing - a 1000 sq. ft. area with 9 ft ceilings was completely clear of mold in two one hour treatments. Read and follow the enclosed instructions - this is not an ionizer you'd run continuously, it's way too powerful for that. I would recommend this product to anyone, it's not cheap but you get what you pay for.

The Sylvan ozone generator came in a timely manner and arrived in good working condition. It successfully eliminates odor.

I had bought this unit because I did not want something ugly and did not like the idea of consumables. The IonFlow 50 is a looking design but the construction is cheap for the price you pay. The power LED was loose when I received the unit. It did not work to my expectations even when following the placement instructions. It does pick up particles but very little for the week I had it on. Still a very good looking unit though! I had to return the first unit, because it was defective, but the seller promptly sent a working unit.

I was happy to see that an air purifier can both be good looking and well working. This product have made my life easier and feel much better. HOT ROD LINCOLN alone makes this a must have album (if your a gearhead) don't just buy the song it's worth the price to get the full album.

As much as the Bay Area wants to claim Commander Cody and the Lost Planet Airmen as their own, it has to be acknowledged, it should be told truth that CCLPA started in/around Detroit, MI. Yes, dear friends, apparently Rockabilly/C/W swing was in the back pocket of a few odd balls in the upper Mid-West. There was no opportunity for fun/advancement/bucks for the group. They left the Yooper to the stooper..Berkeley, CA! In Nor. CA, they found a history of C/W swing. Bob Wills once lived there, + all those damn hippies just loved the quirky grin and violins of the jazzy beat. Grateful Dead said Yeah! CCLPA became forefront in the revival of C/W swing. The Bay Area embraced Asleep at the Wheel, another retro C/W swing band. Oh My! hits kept a'comin' on local radio and shows sold out. CCLPA had a top 10 hurray rework of a novelity hit, "Hot Rod Lincoln". and some giggle hint hint FM hits w/ "Seeds and Stems" " Lost in the Ozone". Live concerts were the grease that squeaked the wheel. But by the mid '80s sales dropped and the boys went to which ever post office box that residual checks go. A damn fine fun LP is legacy. All were honest, as is this fine CD.

COMMANDER CODY AND THE LOST PLANET AIRMEN WERE AN ANACHRONISM EVEN WHEN THIS ALBUM CAME OUT IN THE EARLY 70'S. NOBODY WAS PLAYING THIS KIND OF MUSIC ANYMORE, AND YET, THEY WERE SUCCESSFUL WHEN THEY HIT THE AIRWAVES. A NICE BLEND OF ROCKABILLY, COUNTRY, BOOGIE-WOOGIE, AND JUMP BLUES, MY FAVORITE SONG IS STILL HOT ROD LINCOLN, ONE OF THE COOLEST SONGS EVER.

I remember looking through the bins in my favorite record store in Tucson AZ in the early 70's when this one caught my eye - Cool band name, great title and comic cover art - it had it all! I bought it without knowing anything about the band based solely on the cover. I'm so glad I did!! I've had the album (recently updated to a CD) for 35 years and still tap my toes to it and sing along. My favs: Back to Tennesee, Wine Do Yer Stuff, Seeds and Stems. Sure do miss "Hot Licks, Cold Steel & Other Truckers' Favorites" - Please bring that back!!

I had to go to a wedding rehearsal one Friday night in 10BC but opted to go see CC&TLPA opeining for BYRDS at the Armory. (With my sneaky little girlfriend in a Monkeyfur coat) After the set, I saw Billy C hiking toward the concession stand. "Nice set man!" I said "Uh Huh" was all he said back. Lost in the Ozone was a sleeper then, known to many Florida musicians but not the run-of-the-mill Country crowd. My, how time has grown and flown. These guys are an INSTITUTION like The Outlaws, Asleep at the Wheel, Greazy Wheels or Moby Grape....And "Ozone" put them out there in fine fashion with a good mix of old and new material. Eventually older folks were humming along to Family Bible as if it was always done that way.

Sometimes music is so good that it's unbelievable. Well written, well arranged, and well performed. This CD is just that kind of music. Youngblood Brass Band is true "brass band" comprised of sousaphone, trombone(s), trumpets, tenor sax, bass drum, snare drum, and cymbals, the main feeling is POWER: the power to play loud or soft, featuring inspired solos backed by thick harmonies and counter-melodies to make the music interesting listen after listen. The drum beats are so tight you'd swear they were played by one person on a drumset instead of two people on separate bass and snare drums. While the album does feature some "rap" over the music, if you (like me) dislike rap, thankfully two of the best songs, "Brooklyn" and "V.I.P.", are instrumentals. Also, the lyrics are more cerebral than most you'll hear these days. "Brooklyn" is probably the best song, featuring trombone solos, tenor sax solos, and one of the most fantastic sousaphone solos you'll ever hear by Nat McCavish. Tuba players must listen to it! I've listened to this group as often as possible for years, and have yet to become bored of their music. I suggest you visit their website for more of their music, too.

Read everyone elses review, I'm just adding my 2 cents on how much you need to own this album!

First off, yes, this is a hip-hop album. If you are not a huge fan of rap lyrics and "foul language" then you MAY not enjoy this album if you can't get past that fact. However, I would HIGHLY recommend this album to anyone who enjoys really great music. The MC of this group can write lyrics like nobody else that I know (the closest I can think of is Tomas Kalnoky from Streetlight Manifesto). Not only are the lyrics amazing, the sousaphone groove backed with the horn "sampling" is amazing. Diaspora would probably be my favorite track, followed by Elegy and Brooklyn. I have the older YBB albums, and I have to say that this is my favorite one yet. What sets this album apart from the others in my opinion is the sheer variety in musical stylings. It seems that all of the older songs for the most part simply open up with the sousaphone walking a bassline and then the horns come in (which isn't a bad thing). If you've never heard of Youngblood Brass Band and have an open mind for something a little off the beaten trail, then I'd recommend picking this one up. If you love Youngblood, then why don't you already have this album?

First, this album is amazing. I dont know why one can critique the rap when it is so thought provoking and eloquent. Second, the tuba player did not use multiple tracks on "Nate Mccarish Handbills for No Man" By the way, thats the full title, not just ""Hanbills for no man"" He plays two notes simeltaneously by using a half-open valve. Yes, its possible. I highly recommend buying this album, it is an experience in itself which will hopefully increase your appreciation for all artists(emphisis on the point that not all musicians are artists, one must create to be an artist). I was introduced to the Youngblood Brass Band after listening to public radio (NPR) one morning. The band was being interviewed and played their songs Brooklyn and Human Nature on air so that we could hear a sample of their talents. I was blown away and told everyone about what I heard on the radio. The Youngbloods said that those two songs truly represent their album and their style of music: Based on that statement I bought the album looking for more songs like Brooklyn and Human Nature. What I got was an album full of stupid raps that messed up the band. I would have been happier if the youngbloods made an instrumental version to this album for those who don't like the rap. But what really made me upset is their constant dropping of the F-Bomb. I don't think it's right for an album that has cursing in it to not bear the Parental Advisory Label. I was highly upset. This album received two stars from me for the two redeeming songs that I like.If you don't mind listing to a rapping band that curses, this album is for you. But if you just want to hear a great band, you may be disappointed.

The 3rd season of In Living Color is just as great as all the other seasons. In some of these seasons, yes, some sketches and dance sequences have been either omitted and/or edited down, but that doesn't mean that this show is not worth watching anymore. It is still enjoyable to me, and I don't complain about whatever has been taken out or edited. To those people who have complained about the editing and omissions of certain sketches, STOP GRIPING!!!! Don't let the fact of the editing or omissions prevent you from enjoying all seasons on DVD. Complaining excessively is not going to get Fox to put back what was taken out or edited. Until the editing and omission issue has been resolved (whenever that may be), just deal with the episodes that we've got and have a few laughs with this show. Life is too short to be pining about what has been left out or narrowed down. For all seasons: My grade is a strong A. For your information, Comedy Central is showing In Living Color starting this fall. Just tape the episodes you want that contain whatever the DVDs don't have and burn them onto blank DVDs, if you like, but don't complain the editing and omissions subject to death. The show is here on DVD, ladies and gentlemen, so enjoy it in the meantime.

If you enjoyed the show, then there's not much to say here. It's exactly what you remembered and just the continuation of the shows on DVD. I have the five seasons now, and watch them often. This one in particular is just as funny as the others. A Must-Have.

Since this is not a complete set, I'm going to send it back to Fox. It's a sad, sad situation when skits that made the show famous are removed. There is at least one skit missing per episode and now I'm afraid they will be lost forever. One of my favorites of all time is gone - "Chrystal Waters".

My husband and I have purchased four out of the five seasons but we didn't know until later that many of our favorite skits are missing! The one that we miss the most is the parody of Michael Jackson's Black Or White, "Tell Me If I'm Black Or White". What a disappointment. We won't be purchasing the fifth season.

Does anyone know if the 3rd Season DVD's include the bit titled Sam and Samantha Kinison?

I had been looking for Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide for sometime and am glad to have found it on Amazon. The quantity is small for my needs. If you can supply 35% Hydrogen Peroxide, it would be wonderful. I need large quantities of a gallon or more.
